Hidden Gems in Los Angeles
Los Angeles will always be one of my favorite cities. I love going to the beach and mountains on the same day. Before COVID-19, I traveled to L.A. once per year after living there decades ago. After four long years, I returned to the land of sun and palm trees. Never mind the song “Walking in L.A.” by Missing Persons (am I showing my age?) where they say nobody walks in L.A. on repeat. I can’t hit the pavement enough. You never know what will come your way, and the people-watching is unmatched. And how can anyone downplay the beautiful weather most of the year? I was traveling with my son, so the focus wasn't on street art this time (I will do a separate mural post).
